All Elite Wrestling's roster has continued to grow in 2021 and Tony Khan added two major names to the company earlier this year, bringing in CM Punk and Bryan Danielson.

Both men have been placed in featured spots on AEW programming but WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair has been less than impressed with Punk and Danielson's impact so far.

In a teaser clip ahead of the launch of the Ric Flair Woooooo Nation Uncensored Podcast, Flair revealed he believes AEW Dynamite should never do below 1.1 million total viewers because of the talent they have, a rating the company often fails to reach.

"Well, if I'm looking at the ratings, I don't know what they've contributed. Yeah, certainly, as you said, they're both big stars in the business. Both have had a lot of success, but I don't know how to answer that question, because all you can do, as we do with football or any other show, is look at the ratings. To me, that show should never do less than 1.1 million. If they get there once, and bring in all this talent, and go back, then there's something wrong," said Flair.

While Flair may be less than impressed, AEW President Tony Khan has been happy with CM Punk's impact in the promotion so far, noting that Punk's return to wrestling helped make All Out 2021 AEW's biggest pay-per-view to date. AEW Plus subscriptions on FITE TV have also more than doubled since The Second City Saviour debuted in August, among other metrics of success.
