Ric Flair 'A Huge Fan' Of AEW’s MJF

MJF is certainly a throwback, with the ‘pillar’ of AEW praised for his abilities on the mic, as well as dedication to staying in character at all times, the latter a lost art form in modern wrestling.

These little things have not been lost on others in the industry, with the legendary ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair singling MJF out for praise, saying the following on the Ric Flair Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast:

“I’m a big fan of MJF. The kid can talk, and more than that, he carries himself like a pro. He dresses, and I can’t emphasise enough how important in my estimation it is to look professional, and that kid always looks sharp.”

Parallels have been drawn between MJF and Flair, with MJF’s faction The Pinnacle clearly modelling themselves on Flair and The Four Horsemen, with legendary Horseman Tully Blanchard being a part of MJF’s group.

At only 25 years-old, MJF hasn’t even reached his peak as a wrestler, and if he can stay injury free then there’s every chance that MJF can reach the same career highs that Flair did.
