As Danhausen says, "no swearing."

Carmelo Hayes opened the February 6 edition of WWE NXT following his betrayal of Trick Williams at Vengeance Day. Hayes was met with a feisty reception from the fans inside the WWE Performance Center as the building filled with "F**k you Melo" chants as soon as the former NXT Champion sat down in the ring.

The swearing was bleeped out during the broadcast and the segment quickly came to an end as Hayes said "not yet" and headed to the back, instead leaving his explanation for later in the show.

According to PWInsider, the fans in attendance were advised following the opening segment not to use "f bombs" by WWE staff. Wrestle Ops has claimed the situation went one step further, though, noting that production told fans they would have to take NXT off the air if the swearing continued.

The fans ultimately stopped swearing and the chants were a lot more PG when Hayes came out later in the show to explain his actions, revealing that he turned on Trick Williams because Trick went behind his back in his pursuit of the NXT Championship. Hayes even channelled his inner-Shawn Michaels, faking out the crowd by playing Trick's music inside the Performance Center.
