Apr 6, 2022
Ring Of Honor's return show, Supercard Of Honor, was seemingly a successful pay-per-view for the promotion.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported Supercard Of Honor drew over 20,000 pay-per-view buys. This number does not include fans who streamed the show on HonorClub either.
"For Ring Of Honor, they did over 20,000 buys between streaming and television. I don't know how much over but they beat 20,000 which to me, for that show considering all the stuff that was going on that night, considering what Ring Of Honor usually does, that's a phenomenal number," Meltzer said.
Supercard Of Honor aired on pay-per-view on Friday, April 1, from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.
The show has received plenty of praise, with many selecting The Briscoes vs. FTR for the ROH World Tag Team Title as a match of the year contender. The show also ended with Samoa Joe's return to the promotion with him saving Jonathan Gresham and Lee Moriarty from his former protege Jay Lethal.
