With Jon Moxley in AEW, the chances are he is going to bleed at some point, and this was true in his main event clash with Hiroshi Tanahashi at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

Mox was bleeding heavily throughout the bout, and during a post-match promo mentioned he is ‘probably concussed’ after defeating The Ace for the Interim AEW World Championship.

Moxley’s words obviously prompted concern, but it’s believed it was just an in-character quip, with Dave Meltzer reporting on Wrestling Observer Radio that Moxley is apparently fine after Forbidden Door, and as of writing is still scheduled to wrestle in Blood & Guts II on Wednesday’s edition of AEW: Dynamite.

As a result, Moxley has allegedly realised the concern his words caused, and will likely not use the line again such is the concern of legit concussions in the industry.

So seemingly good news for a Forbidden Door event that was marred by injury heading into it, with Adam Cole reportedly suffering a legit concussion of his own during the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship four-way clash with Jay White, Hangman Page, and Kazuchika Okada.
