On Wednesday's edition of AEW: Dynamite, SCU and The Young Bucks teamed together against The Hybrid2 and The Acclaimed. All four tag teams were given time to showcase themselves and The Bucks and SCU managed to secure the victory with the Best Meltzer ever after nine minutes.

According to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Online, Nick Jackson suffered a leg contusion during the match. He isn't expected to miss any time, though, and is scheduled to appear on next week's Dynamite. Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Jackson think's he'll be okay to wrestle by January 20.

Jackson suffered the injury following a 630 Senton from Jack Evans. Nick got his knees up to block the move but The Hybrid2 member landed so hard on his opponent that Jackson initially thought he had broken one of his legs.

Nick was able to finish the match with a slight limp and he avoided Superkicking Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr. during the main event angle with his brother, Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers because his leg hurt.
