Report: Miro Worked AEW Full Gear With A Hamstring Injury
An injury for Miro
Dec 31, 2021
Since dropping the TNT Championship to Sammy Guevara on September 29, Miro has only wrestled twice in All Elite Wrestling. While he has spent much of his time in recent months annoyed with God, the former TNT Champion was drafted into the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament as Jon Moxley's replacement, defeating Orange Cassidy in the semifinal before losing to Bryan Danielson in the final at Full Gear.
Miro wasn't 100 percent when he wrestled either of those November matches, though, and Fightful Select reported The Redeemer was dealing with a hamstring injury at the time, which is why his leg was heavily taped.
Miro hasn't wrestled since the November pay-per-view, although he has continued to appear on Dynamite and Rampage in vignettes where he has expressed his anger with God for giving him a weak neck, among other issues.
The Bulgarian Brute made his AEW debut in September 2020 and he held the TNT Title for 140 days earlier this year, successfully defending the gold eight times against the likes of Dante Martin, Eddie Kingston and Fuego Del Sol.
