The Young Bucks were written out of All Elite Wrestling on last week's episode of Dynamite because Matt Jackson is dealing with an injury, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Radio.

According to Alvarez, Jackson is dealing with a partially torn biceps which he suffered during the AEW World Trios Title match against House of Black and the Jericho Appreciation Society on the March 15 edition of Dynamite. Jackson suffered the injury early in the clash but managed to continue. Meltzer further noted that Jackson has opted not to undergo surgery and he is hopeful of returning from injury sooner than expected. If Matt had required surgery, he would have been out of action for seven months.

The Young Bucks were written off TV last week, being attacked by unknown assailants, believed to be the Blackpool Combat Club, ahead of Dynamite. This kicked off a show-long angle that saw Kenny Omega defeat El Hijo Del Vikingo before an Elite reunion with Hangman Page was teased for the second week in a row.
