Report: House Of Black Were In Newark For AEW Full Gear

While they did not appear on the pay-per-view, members of House of Black were in Newark, New Jersey for Full Gear on Saturday, November 19, according to Fightful Select.

Why Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King were in town for Full Gear is unknown, especially since they did not work the show, but speculation has suggested they could have been around to discuss possible return plans. The faction did recently tease a return on social media.

House of Black have not appeared on TV as a unit since September's All Out pay-per-view. Malakai Black announced following the event that he was taking time off to recalibrate after All Elite Wrestling denied his release request. Buddy Matthews then took time off following his and Brody King's loss to Sting and Darby Allin at Rampage: Grand Slam a couple of weeks later.

Both Black and Matthews were reportedly approached by WWE about a return in the summer and they wanted to go back to the company. Another name approached was Andrade El Idolo who is currently suspended from AEW after punching Sammy Guevara during a backstage altercation.
