IMPACT Wrestling have added a former Ring of Honor booker to their creative team.

According to PWInsider, Hunter "Delirious" Johnston signed with IMPACT Wrestling as a writer and producer several weeks ago and he is working behind the scenes on creative. IMPACT talent and staff were informed by Scott D'Amore that Delirious had joined the promotion in the same email in which it was announced that Jimmy Jacobs would be leaving the company.

Jacobs had been the head of the creative process, reporting to IMPACT President Scott D'Amore, but he left IMPACT over Against All Odds weekend and the 39-year-old has since signed with All Elite Wrestling.

It is believed that Jacobs' duties will be split among several members of the IMPACT creative team, partly to share the responsibility and ensure no one suffers from burnout.

Delirious was previously the head booker in Ring of Honor from August 2010 until Tony Khan purchased the promotion in March 2022. Johnston departed ROH shortly after Khan's acquisition and he wrestled for IMPACT between September 2022 and January 2023. He also worked backstage as a producer at the September 2022 tapings.
