Report: Backstage News On FTR Defeating The Young Bucks At AEW All In
More on FTR defeating The Young Bucks at AEW All In 2023

Heading into AEW All In 2023, many assumed there’d be an AEW World Tag Team Championship change due to FTR’s Cash Wheeler’s recent arrest for aggravated assault with a firearm. However, FTR retained the gold in a hard-hitting bout with The Young Bucks at the Wembley Stadium supershow.
According to a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the outcome of the match was seemingly still in the air heading into the show, with Meltzer suggesting that the original plan was for FTW to retain, although Wheeler’s arrest threw those plans into doubt.
If AEW were hoping that Wheeler’s arrest would be quickly forgotten by the London crowd then they were sadly mistaken, as Wheeler was constantly heckled throughout the bout, with sections of the crowd loudly singing “Wheeler’s got a gun, got a gun, Wheeler’s got a gun” to the tune of ‘Baby Give It Up’ by KC & The Sunshine Gang.
Whilst the three-match series between FTR and The Young Bucks stands at 2-1 to FTR, it’s expected that the two teams will clash more in the ring whilst still active competitors.
