All Elite Wrestling's TV schedule is set to change later this year. The long-talked-about second TV show, now known as AEW: Rampage, will premiere on August 13 at 10 pm ET on TNT. AEW programming will remain on the network until the end of the year, but will then move to TBS in 2022. Four new annual specials will continue to be aired on TNT, though.

As part of the arrangement, Tony Khan noted on Busted Open Radio that he renegotiated AEW's TV deal with Turner. The promotion is receiving an "eight-figure payday" from the switch and the new specials, according to PWInsider.

The second TV deal that AEW signed with Turner back in January 2020 was reportedly worth $175 million over four years, but at least $10 million has been added to that amount with the new arrangement.

PWInsider also noted the move to TBS has been viewed positively within AEW and the company sees it as a way to increase their reach across multiple stations.

The move to TBS also won't affect the amount of homes AEW can reach with their two TV shows. Wrestlenomics' Brandon Thurston noted TBS is in 81,789,000 homes while TNT is in 81,342,000.
