Report: AEW All In Only 3800 Tickets Away From Setting All-Time Attendance Record

When All Elite Wrestling announced they were running London’s Wembley Stadium for All In in August, many were shocked, predicting AEW would have a hard time coming anywhere near filling the iconic football stadium.

However, it's safe to say that AEW are doing gangbusters ticket-wise, and a new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that AEW are just 3800 ticket sales away from breaking the all-time attendance record for a paid show in wrestling history.

As of writing AEW are believed to have put out 76,929 tickets for All In, with about 70,400 paid. The record was set by 2016's WWE WrestleMania 32 with 80,709 tickets moved for ‘The Grandaddy of ‘em All’ in AT&T Stadium, and Meltzer states that All In has 10,896 tickets available, meaning an attendance of 87,825 if the show is a complete sell-out.

Whilst All In could break the attendance record for a paid show, it will not be the most attended wrestling show of all time even if it does set the new record, with the historic Collision in Korea shows promoted by NJPW and WCW in 1995 drawing around 300,000 people across two days, although actual figures are disputed, and it is not clear if attendance was mandatory due to the oppressive nature of North Korea's ruling dictatorship.
