At last night’s TNA Under Siege 2024 event, Alex Hammerstone was scheduled to go one-on-one with Jake Something, though the event saw multiple changes to the card at the last minute, with Hammerstone being taken off the show.

It was revealed during the Countdown To Under Siege show that Hammerstone was not medically cleared to compete, leading to his removal from the card. TNA opted to rejiggle the show due to this, with Rich Swann stepping in to do battle with Jake Something instead. However, Swann was originally scheduled for a TNA Digital Media Championship match with Laredo Kid on the pre-show, so his spot was taken up by KC Navarro.

Kid would retain the TNA Digital Media Championship over Navarro, whilst Swann and Something would fight to a no contest, which led to an impromptu tag team match involving Cody Deaner and AJ Frances too.

There is no word currently on what injury or ailment Hammerstone sustained which would lead to his absence from the show. Hammerstone signed with TNA in 2024, and has since feuded with Josh Alexander.
