After years of development we are now only weeks away from the long-awaited launch of the AEW Fight Forever video game.
Ahead of launching on June 29, new details have emerged regarding the game, with pre-order bonuses and downloadable content having been revealed for the game, as well as more info on general gameplay.
AEW officially released a video to socials announcing that Matt Hardy… and Matt Hardy would be available as a pre-order bonus, with both the ‘Broken’ and ‘Extreme’ versions of the tag team icon set to be included.
The game’s listing on Steam has also revealed that the following DLC packs are set to be released during the game’s life cycle; The Hookhausen Very Handsome, Very Evil Pack (Danhausen & HOOK), the FTR: Revival Pack (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood), and The Limitless Bunny Pack (The Bunny & Keith Lee). Both the FTR: Revival and Limitless Bunny DLC packs also include a pair of additional minigames to add to the existing selection. The included games are ‘JoinUs’, ‘Death Race-X’, ‘MJF Car Thrash’, and ‘Sloth Sling’.
Several streamers and review platforms have gotten their hands on early copies of the game, unearthing additional details with regards to gameplay. IGN in particular noted how wrestlers feel different from one another, with the likes of Orange Cassidy able to wrestle with his hands in his pockets, whilst MJF can’t perform evasive actions and will instead pretend to beg for mercy allowing the player to cheapshot their opponent.
