Orange Cassidy To Make AEW Singles Debut At Revolution
Freshly Squeezed indeed...
Feb 27, 2020
Since signing with AEW, Orange Cassidy has only competed in multi-man matches, either participating in Battle Royals or teaming with Best Friends in Six-Man Tag Team bouts.
This is set to change, however, as The Freshly Squeezed One will go one on one with PAC at Revolution on Saturday, February 29.
The match was announced during last night's episode of Dynamite, which kicked off with the 30 minute Iron Man match between Kenny Omega and The Bastard as they looked to settle their long rivalry once and for all in their third encounter.
Ultimately, after 30 minutes, the match was declared a draw as both wrestlers had scored one fall each. PAC could feel somewhat aggrieved, however, as he would have won the match if not for interference from The Young Bucks.
Alas, it was not meant to be for The Bastard Honey Badger as Omega pinned him with the One-Winged Angel after the bout was restarted under sudden death rules.
After the match, PAC made his way up the ramp, only to be stopped by Tony Schiavone who proceeded to annoy The Man That Gravity Forgot even more during their brief interview.
Then Orange Cassidy suddenly emerged from the back and received a beating for his perceived disrespect.
Now, the two stars will face off at Revolution on Saturday, February 29 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The full card is as follows:
