Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega

This post contains SPOILERS from today's NJPW Wrestling Dontaku (Day 2) event.

Kenny Omega has challenged Kazuchika Okada to a match at this year's NJPW Dominion event on June 9th - this time with an added stipulation.

The pair clashed in three critically-acclaimed matches over the course of 2017. The first, in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 11, saw Okada defeat Omega in a Dave Meltzer-rated 6-star match. The rematch (at Dominion 2017) was regarded by many as even better - a 60-minute time limit draw involving many members of the Bullet Club at ringside.

The third clash came on day 18 of the G1 Climax, and saw Omega finally defeat a severely-weakened Okada with the One Winged Angel - a move the IWGP Heavyweight Champion had largely been able to avoid in prior bouts.

Their upcoming match, however, will be fought under a specific set of rules. Firstly, there will be no time limits - which seems to imply that the bout will eclipse the hour mark. Secondly, it will be fought under the classic '2 out of 3 falls' stipulation - again hinting at an encounter of epic length.

Omega's challenge was the culmination of a very eventful show, which also featured the unveiling of Taiji Ishimori as the newest member of Bullet Club, and the return of Chris Jericho.

The latter again jumped Tetsuya Naito, re-igniting a feud that seemed to have been scrapped earlier this year.

Elsewhere, Will Ospreay retained the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against KUSHIDA, only for Ishimori to be positioned as is next big challenger.
