NPJW Royal Quest III Results

NJPW held their Royal Quest III show last night at the Copper Box Arena in London, England, and it was a notable night full of big action and show-stealers. The most notable match of the night saw Will Ospreay outlast Zack Sabre Jr. in the main event of the evening, successfully defending his IWGP United Kingdom Championship after a great back and forth which saw Ospreay hitting a powerbomb, hidden blade, and Stormbreaker all in succession to win the match.

Post-match saw Shota Umino answer a call out from Ospreay, challenging him for the IWGP UK Title at the upcoming November 4 Power Struggle event. Ospreay agreed, only if the Great O’Khan could take on Jon Moxley on the same night, which Umino accepted.

Elsewhere, Shingo Takagi and Tomahiro Ishii tore the house down in a match which saw all their greatest hits on display, with Shingo even pulling out a Sheer Drop Brainbuster. Shingo won the match, and would go on to be challenged by Tama Tonga to a NEVER Openweight Title match.
