With Young Lions Yuya Uemura and Yota Tsuji looking to graduate from the Noge Dojo, they will undergo gauntlets during the Kizuna Road tour to prove they are ready to become fully-fledged members of the New Japan Pro-Wrestling roster.

The series of matches begins on June 14 when Yuya Uemura takes on longtime foe Minoru Suzuki, while Yota Tsuji will go one on one with his mentor Hiroshi Tanahashi. Dangerous Tekkers will then be in the way of the young lions on June 15 as Tsuji will face Taichi while Uemura will clash with Zack Sabre Jr. It will then be Uemura's turn to face Hiroshi Tanahashi on June 16. Tsuji will face off against Kazuchika Okada on that show.

The Young Lions will then take a break and reconvene on June 22 for round two with Dangerous Tekkers. Uemura will face Taichi this time around while Tsuji will take on Zack Sabre Jr. In their final matches of the tour on June 23, Tsuji will square off with Great-O-Khan and Uemura will go one on one with former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kota Ibushi.

Two title matches will also take place during the Kizuna Road Tour. Chaos' YOSHI-HASHI, Tomohiro Ishii and Hirooki Goto will defend the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship against Bullet Club's EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi and Dick Togo on June 22. Roppongi 3K will then put the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship on the line on June 23 against El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori.
