New Japan Pro-Wrestling held their second set of Showdown tapings on Sunday, October 17 at Philadelphia's 2300 Arena. Matches from the tapings will air on future episodes of NJPW Strong on NJPW World.

- Fred Rosser, Karl Fredericks, Rocky Romero, Ren Narita & The DKC def. West Coast Wrecking Crew, Tom Lawlor, JR Kratos & Danny Limelight by DQ - Fred Rosser will be the next challenger for Tom Lawlor's Strong Openweight Championship.
