NJPW 50th Anniversary Show Card Revealed

New Japan Pro-Wrestling will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on March 1 with a show from the famous Nippon Budokan and the promotion revealed the full card for the event at a press conference today.

While the annual anniversary show has typically featured the IWGP World Heavyweight/Heavyweight Champion against the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion in the main event in recent years, that won't be the case this year.

Instead, Kazuchika Okada will team with Hiroshi Tanahashi and NJPW legend Tatsumi Fujinami against Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr. and the returning Yoshiaki Fujiwara in the main event. El Desperado will team with his Suzuki-gun faction-mates Yoshinobu Kanemaru and DOUKI against GLEAT's STRONGHEARTS.

Other outside names to feature on the card include Shiro Koshinaka and Minoru Tanaka.
