New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced several matches for this week’s edition of NJPW Strong.

The show is being billed as a ‘Road To New Japan Cup USA’ event, with a main event of Brody King, Logan Riegel, and Sterling Riegel taking on Team Filthy - Tom Lawlor, Chris Dickinson, and JR Kratos.

In NJPW’s preview of this week’s show it was noted that King and Dickinson might have a conflict of interest, with the two seemingly forming a new stable at ROH’s 19th Anniversary Show with Homicide and Tony Deppen.

Also announced for Strong is TJP & Alex Couglin vs. Misterioso & Jordan Clearwater, whilst Rocky Romero will face NJPW Young Lion Kevin Knight in the show’s opener.

The April 9 edition of Strong will be the start point for the NJPW Cup USA Tournament, with Clark Connors vs. Lio Rush, Brody King vs. Chris Dickinson, Ren Narita vs. Tom Lawler, and Hikuleo vs. Fred Rosser  (fka Darren Young) scheduled for the first round.
