Mariah May has commented on the shocking conclusion of the July 10 edition of AEW Dynamite.

May defeated Willow Nightingale to win the 2024 women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament in the show's main event, before viciously turning on "Timeless" Toni Storm in a bloody post-match attack.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, May explained her reason for the attack and vowed to finish the job when she clashes with Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship at All In, saying:

"That felt like extra celebration for the work I did. That's what that was… My mother will be there at All In. She'll watch me from the front row as I destroy what's left of Toni Storm."

Elsewhere, the 25-year-old reflected on headlining her first Dynamite and the match with Willow, adding:

"That was my first chance to main-event Dynamite. Being in the ring with Willow, who has already achieved so much, was a great experience. I'd love to wrestle her again. Who knows, maybe when I'm world champion."

AEW All In will take place on Sunday, August 25 in Wembley Stadium.
