KENTA Wants Match With CM Punk At AEW X NJPW: Forbidden Door

With the announcement of the upcoming AEW X NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June, wrestling fans have already started speculating as to what dream matches could become reality.

But it seems fans are not alone, as Bullet Club’s KENTA has taken to Twitter to announce that he wants to face CM Punk at the historic show in Chicago’s United Center.

KENTA was succinct in his demands, tweeting out “GIVE ME #G2SvsGTS” and later posted a mock-up of Punk’s head on John Wick with dozens of guns pointed at his head, with KENTA warning Punk there is “NO WAY OUT”.

The match has long been a dream of wrestling fans, due to Punk using the Go To Sleep, a move which Kenta invented during his time in Pro Wrestling NOAH as the Go2Sleep.

If Punk says no, then KENTA can always sound out Bryan Danielson for a match, seeing as Danielson’s Knee Plus is also a staple of KENTA’s arsenal - the Busaiku Knee.
