Kazuchika Okada Wants An AEW X NJPW Show In Japan
If AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2 happens, Kazuchika Okada wants it in Japan

When AEW and NJPW came together for Forbidden Door in June 2022, it was instantly regarded as a show of the year candidate, as the best of AEW and New Japan clashed in Chicago.
Whilst the relationship between the two companies remains healthy, it seems that a sequel is inevitable, and NJPW legend Kazuchika Okada wants it to happen in Japan, telling Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso:
“AEW is a great promotion, I definitely felt that in my time there,” Okada said. “There are places where they win out over NJPW, and areas where New Japan is superior as well. I think both sides came away with something to learn and work on, and I’d love to have another event with those lessons learned. Last time was in the U.S., so let’s have it in Japan next time.”
Okada was part of a four way match for Jay White’s IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door, but next time he wants to face Bryan Danielson:
“I was hoping to meet Bryan Danielson at Forbidden Door, but unfortunately that couldn’t happen. Since we couldn’t talk backstage, I’m happy to meet him in the ring next time," Okada said.
