Juice Robinson has confirmed his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling will expire in January 2022, and indicated his intent to let the deal run out before deciding on his future.

Reports emerged earlier this month that Robinson's contract with NJPW would be expiring at the start of the new year, with one promoter indicating that they expected the former CJ Parker to have 'multiple offers' on the table in regard to his future.

Robinson himself has now confirmed this situation to be the case, saying he will be a free agent in February and suggesting he is considering a move to a new challenge.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, he said: "I'll be a free agent [in] February. It’s a great time in wrestling to show up anywhere, and maybe it’s the right time for me to spread my wings and fly."

Robinson is due to face IMPACT World Champion Moose at NJPW Battle in the Valley on November 13, and wrestled in IMPACT earlier this year, winning the Tag Team Titles with David Finlay.
