Pro Wrestling Guerrilla have announced JONAH as the first entrant in the 2022 Battle Of Los Angeles.

PWG made the announcement on social media that the former Bronson Reed is the first confirmed name for the Battle Of Los Angeles, set for the end of January 2022. No other names are yet to be revealed for the event.

PWG confirmed last month that their annual tournament was returning after a two-year absence in January 2022. Usually held over three days during the summer, PWG revealed that the competition would instead be taking place across two days, January 29 and 30, in 2022. This is the same weekend as WWE is planning to hold their Royal Rumble event next year.

JONAH, known as Bronson Reed in NXT, was suprisingly released by WWE in August and recently returned to in-ring action, having debuted for both New Japan Pro Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling in the past month.

He made his debut for NJPW in a match with Lucas Riley on NJPW strong this past week, and and also competed on last Thursday's IMPACT Wrestling before calling out World Champion Moose and Josh Alexander.
