Pro Wrestling Guerrilla continue the build towards 2022’s Battle of Los Angeles by confirming the seventh name for the tournament; Jack Cartwheel.
The highly regarded high flyer has been a fixture of PWG since their return in August 2021, where he battled Tony Deppen at Mystery Vortex 7, and PWG took to Twitter to announce Cartwheel's participation in BOLA.
This will be Cartwheel’s BOLA debut, where he is set to battle Lio Rush, Alex Shelley, JONAH, Kevin Blackwood, Black Taurus, and Daniel Garcia, with others likely to be announced in the coming weeks.
PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles 2022 is set for Saturday January 29, and Sunday January 30 from PWG’s home-base the Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California.
This will be the sixteenth edition of the BOLA tournament, with the last held in 2019 before a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
After several years running as a three night event, the 2022 BOLA will revert to a two-night tournament format, and it can be assumed the final will be a singles match, as opposed to the three-way matches that ended the three-night BOLAs.
