IMPACT Wrestling was taped once again at the IMPACT Zone in Nashville, as we had the final show before Victory Road on Saturday.

Going into the IMPACT Plus special, all eyes were on the massive ten-man tag as IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage assembled a team to take on number one contender Ace Austin and his team. It didn’t take long for this bout to turn into an all-out brawl, with fights spilling all over the ringside area. The action was fast and frenetic as rivalries exploded, especially the animosity between Moose, W. Morrissey, Sami Callihan, and Eddie Edwards. Eventually it was Josh Alexander who got the win for Team Cage, planting Brian Myers with a C4 Spike to get the win.

After defeat at the hands of Decay, Violent By Design’s Eric Young chastised Rhino for his and Deaner’s loss. The Man Beast stood up for himself, but was beaten down by the rest of VBD. EY then draped the VBD flag over Rhino’s body, and it seems like VBD have possibly gone from a quartet to a trio.

Elsewhere, Maclin beat down Petey Williams and TJP after the former X Division Champions had a spirited singles bout. Deonna Purrazzo and Mickie James brawled after Purrazzo and Matt Rehwoldt beat down Trey Miguel. Rich Swann and Willie Mack will take on The Good Brothers for the Tag Titles at Victory Road.
