IMPACT Wrestling presented the first episode of TV after last weekend’s Hard to Kill, a show which saw the status quo prevail in the title scene, whilst renegades from Ring of Honor made their presence felt.

W. Morrissey was angry at how his IMPACT World Title shot against Moose, and fellow challenger Matt Cardona went down at Hard to Kill, claiming he had Moose beat and demands a title shot tonight. Moose was in no mood, telling Morrissey if he had it won then where is his title? Moose instead vowed to defend against a new challenger - Zicky Dice, as Scott D’AMore told Morrissey there’d be no interference. Unfortunately, ROH struck, as OGK, Vincent, and PCO beat down D’Lo Brown and put him through a table.

Ring of Honor’s presence would loom large over the show, taking out Rhino, and heath, and being a point of conversation between VBD and The Good Brother’s as the two teams called off their alliance.

ROH’s spirit was especially felt as ROH Women’s Champion Rok-C put the title on the line against AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Deonna Purrazzo in a winner takes all match in the night’s main event

The two put on a superb match, with the veteran Purrazzo looking to outwit the spirited Rok-C. Rok-C initally had the better of ‘The Virtuosa’ using her speed to outmanoeuvre and overcome everything Deonna threw at her. Purrazzo soon got a foothold in the match, her experience allowing her to assert dominance, but Rok-C wasn’t going down without a fight, despite Purrazzo working over her arm. The ROH Women’s Champ found an opening and went for Code Rok, but Purrazzo had it scouted, working over Rok-C’s arm some more before finally locking in the Venus de Milo for the submission win. Purrazzo is a double champion once again, and her loss to Knockouts Champion Mickie James at Hard to Kill is fully in the rear view.

Unfortunately Purrazzo didn’t have much time to celebrate as ROH’s Maria Kanellis came to the ring, as did OGK, Vincent, and PCO, and despite Willie Mack, Matt Rehwoldt, and Rich Swann stepping in, the ROH rebels delivered a vicious beatdown.

When Moose took on Zicky Dice during the show, it was a quick affair, with Moose getting the win in seconds, still in his suit. Morrissey chased the champ off, then gave Dice a big boot because why not.

Josh Alexander received an unlikely challenger when former WWE and ROH World Tag Team Champion Charlie Haas made his arrival to IMPACT. Haas interrupted ‘The Walking Weapon’ when Alexander was reinstating his desire to face Moose, but Haas wants a shot at Alexander. Alexander accepted but fired Haas a warning which didn’t go down to well, as the two got physical, before being separated.
