Major matches set for Keiji Muto's retirement show
Jan 22, 2023
The Japanese wrestling world will come together on February 21 inside the Tokyo Dome for Keiji Muto's retirement show - "Keiji Muto Grand Final Pro-Wrestling 'Last' Love ~Hold Out~".
Wrestlers from Muto's home promotion Pro Wrestling NOAH, as well as NJPW, AJPW, DDT Pro-Wrestling, Dragon Gate, and Tokyo Joshi Pro will all be in action. In his final match, Keiji Muto will go one-on-one with Tetsuya Naito in their second Tokyo Dome match and their first singles encounter since Muto defeated Naito at Wrestle Kingdom 6.
A Champion vs. Champion non-title match will also see Kazuchika Okada square off with Kaito Kiyomiya. This comes after Wrestle Kingdom 17 in Yokohama Arena on January 21 where a tag team match featuring the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and GHC Heavyweight Champion had to be thrown out after Okada went wild on Kiyomiya following a brutal kick to Okada's forehead that drew blood.
IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi and GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion AMAKUSA will also face each other in another Champion vs. Champion non-title clash.
