He quit the company during the 2019 Hall Of Fame ceremony...

Deonna Purrazzo's Knockouts Title reign came to an end at Bound For Glory after she was defeated by the returning Su Yung. The Virtuosa didn't take her clean loss very well, however, as she hired a barrister and threatened to sue IMPACT Wrestling unless the Knockouts Title was returned to her. Scott D'Amore ultimately talked Deonna down and after consulting with her legal counsel, she agreed to a rematch with Su Yung next week.
The barrister during the segment was RD Evans, a member of the IMPACT Wrestling creative team who famously quit WWE during the 2019 Hall Of Fame ceremony. Evans produced The Hart Foundation Hall Of Fame speech which featured a mention of Vince McMahon. PWInsider noted at the time that McMahon does not allow anyone to mention him during the Hall Of Fame ceremony and since Bret Hart's speech was so egregious in the boss's eyes, Evans quit the company before they could fire him.
Evans also had a hand in the main event segment, according to PWInsider. They reported the former ROH manager wrote and produced John E. Bravo and Rosemary's wedding which ended with the groom being shot in the chest.
