Former WWE Superstar Big Cass suffered a seizure at the House of Hardcore event in Philadelphia last night.

It's said that the 31-year-old hadn't yet performed on the show, but was set to do a run-in on Tommy Dreamer later in the night. The seizure happened while Cass was talking to a fan during the intermission break at around 10 pm.

Reports from fans who attended the show claim that the room immediately cleared when people realised what was going on to allow paramedics to attend to Cass. At the time of writing, going off a series of tweets from fans at the show, it appears that Cass was awake and responsive after receiving treatment but was taken to hospital later on.

Tommy Dreamer, the founder of House of Hardcore, gave a speech addressing the situation later in the night, offering Cass his prayers and stressing that the seizure was not drug-related as he had been with the seven-footer all day.

This was going to be the latest of Cass' more high-profile appearances since being released from WWE in June. The Queens native, who has gone by Big C and Big Cazz during his brief indy run to date, lost to MVP at House Of Hardcore 51: Blizzard Brawl on December 1.

Cass was released from WWE following a number of rumours came out regarding his conduct backstage. Speaking about his release to Booker T's

Everyone at Cultaholic wishes Cass a very speeding recovery indeed!
