Former MLW World Champion Tom Lawlor is officially on the free agents market.

‘Filthy’ took to Twitter yesterday to confirm that he is officially done with MLW, reserving praise for the promotion and management:

“As of today, I am a free agent in the world of professional wrestling. Thank you to @mlw @courtbauer @MSL @beINSPORTSUSA for the time & effort they put in with me. But mostly I’d like to thank the MLW staff, wrestlers past & present, and fans for the 4 years of memories! #mlw”

It was reported earlier last month that Lawlor’s time with the company was coming to an end, with his contract expiring before MLW’s latest round of tapings. Lawlor’s last appearance for MLW was in a losing effort against King Muertes in a casket match at the Fightland tapings in early October.

Lawlor still competes for NJPW STRONG in the USA, but his next moves are as yet unknown, with Lawlor also teasing retirement from MMA, after leaving his gloves in ring after a victory in June.
