First Match Officially Announced For AEW All Out 2024
AEW All Out 2024 has its first match
Aug 15, 2024
Whilst All Elite Wrestling have full focus on All In on August 25, they have started to put the card together for All Out on September 7, with the first match announced during the August 14 edition of AEW Dynamite.
An incensed PAC cut a backstage promo on Dynamite, with ‘The Bastard’ angry at having his Wembley Stadium moment robbed from him by Will Ospreay. As PAC won a shot at the American Championship, he’s decided to cash it in for All Out instead, and will face either Ospreay or champion MJF for the gold in Chicago.
PAC won a guaranteed shot at the title after defeating Claudio Castagnoli, Tomohiro Ishii, and Kyle Fletcher in four-way action on July 10, with PAC looking to lift the title for a second time having reigned as the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion upon winning the title at Forbidden Door I in June 2022.
Whilst his focus is on All Out, there is no word on what PAC will be doing at All In, with rumours suggesting that PAC and The Lucha Bros were originally set to challenge for the Trios Championships in Wembley Stadium. Ultimately this match never left the planning stages, with The Lucha Bros expected to depart AEW for WWE upon the expiration of the deals.
