Oct 31, 2023
Fans who missed out on the UK Invasion Tour won't have to wait very long for TNA Wrestling to return to the United Kingdom.
IMPACT President Scott D'Amore exclusively revealed to Cultaholic Wrestling's Tom Campbell that TNA Wrestling will return to the UK at some point in 2024. There is no word on which cities TNA will visit or when in 2024 the promotion will return.
"We're looking at options right now, Tom. We definitely will be back here in 2024, we're just trying to figure out our schedule. It boils down to a combination of our schedule, what's going on here in the marketplace and the availability of venues, but we have a few things circled on the calendar. After taking a little bit of time to breathe, get a couple of deep breaths and settle in we'll be back tackling exactly what the right time is to be back in the market. But definitely in 2024," D'Amore stated.
IMPACT Wrestling recently wrapped up a four-event tour of the United Kingdom with shows in Glasgow, Scotland, Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and Coventry, England. The show in Newcastle was the taping of IMPACT Turning Point and the event will air on Friday, November 3.
IMPACT will officially become TNA Wrestling once again beginning with the Hard To Kill pay-per-view on January 13, 2024. The promotion and the United Kingdom have a long history together and TNA's biggest ever attendance was the Maximum Impact house show at London's Wembley Arena in January 2009.
That event had over 8,000 fans in attendance and featured a main event of Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett. The likes of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Abyss, Beer Money, Team 3D, Alex Shelley, and Scott Steiner were also in action.
Alex Shelley was injured on night one of the UK Invasion Tour. Cultaholic Wrestling has an exclusive update on how long he will be out of action.
