Ethan Page has shed some light on why he joined AEW rather than WWE after leaving IMPACT.

During a Q&A session on his YouTube channel, Page was asked why he chose AEW instead of going to WWE, with Page saying the following:

“Interesting question, I’m going to give you a very lazy answer. I wanted to go to AEW from the chance that I even thought about moving from one place to another. AEW was always at the top of my list. I would not be able to do this stream with you guys, I would not be able to answer these crazy-ass questions, I would not be able to do my vlog, Twitch, or any outside projects like that.

“I think they give the talent some really good creative freedom as well to be who they are and who they want to be. You’re going to see ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page. I really had a hand in designing my first t-shirt for AEW. Yeah, you’re going to see sprinkles of my creativity throughout my AEW career. It’s more of a collaboration, which is awesome.”

‘All Ego’ debuted for AEW at the Revolution PPV on March 7, after a four-year run with IMPACT Wrestling, winning the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles on two occasions with Josh Alexander as The North.
