New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced yesterday that IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi had sustained a left pectoral injury and would be out of action for six months.

NJPW had a busy week in store for The Time Bomb as he was scheduled to challenge for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship with BUSHI on February 25 before defending the singles title against El Phantasmo at Castle Attack.

The status of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title remains unclear, but NJPW announced earlier today that El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori will defend the tag team championship against former champions Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado on the February 25 Road To Castle Attack show at Korakuen Hall.

Kanemaru and El Desperado attacked ELP and Ishimori during Monday's Road To Castle Attack event and New Japan ultimately decided to grant them a title match. The two teams last faced each other on January 23 when the Bullet Club members captured the tag title from Suzuki-gun.

Check out the February 25 Road To Castle Attack card below: • Hiroshi Tanahashi, Satoshi Kojima & Yota Tsuji vs. The United Empire • SHO, Toru Yano & Kazuchika Okada vs. Dick Togo, EVIL & Chase Owens • YOSHI-HASHI, Hirooki Goto & Tomohiro Ishii vs. Guerrillas Of Destiny & Jay White • Kota Ibushi, Yuji Nagata & Tomoaki Honma vs. Tetsuya Naito, SANADA & Shingo Takagi • El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori (c) vs. El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru - IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship
