Following his involvement in RevPro's Revolution Rumble on Sunday, March 26, Eddie Dennis has announced his retirement from professional wrestling, leaving his boots in the middle of the squared circle as he bid farewell to his in-ring career.

Tributes have poured in for Dennis since he announced his retirement, including from his FSU tag team partner Mark Andrews, and Flash Morgan Webster, who wrote:

"Fact @EddieDennis1986's last act of his career was getting the crowd to rally & get behind OJMO as he left sums up Eddie's career/Eddie as a human. Truly Unselfish until the end. Thanks for everything brother, wouldn't be the wrestler I am today without you x #ThankYouEddie."

Dennis made his pro wrestling debut back in 2008 and he eventually quit his job as a headteacher to wrestle as an in-ring talent full-time. He was a featured member of NXT UK throughout the WWE brand's existence until it was shuttered in 2022. Dennis is also a former PROGRESS World Champion, having held the belt from September 2019 until January 2020.
