Early Estimate On IMPACT Bound For Glory 2023 PPV Buys

IMPACT Wrestling recently ran their last major pay per view event of the year with Bound For Glory, an event that will be the last under the IMPACT banner before a return to the TNA name.

This year’s Bound For Glory saw Will Ospreay take on "Speedball" Mike Bailey, whilst in the title picture both IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley and Knockouts World Champion Trinity left the event with their gold still firmly around their waists.

Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, early numbers for PPV buys for the show are up on the 2022 edition, with an estimated 11% increase on PPV buys via traditional television, with rough estimates as to streaming numbers being in the 5,400 to 7,200 ballpark.

Interestingly, early numbers have suggested that 2.1% of those who ordered AEW’s WrestleDream on October 1 also purchased Bound For Glory, compared to 3.1% of those that watched WWE Fastlane on October 7 also plumping to buy Bound For Glory.

This was the 19th Bound For Glory in TNA/IMPACT history, with the event long serving as the major show of the year for the promotion.
