Dominik Mysterio Regains The WWE NXT North American Title From Trick Williams

Dominik Mysterio is WWE NXT North American Champion once again.

Three days on from him losing the belt and Mysterio faced Trick Williams in a rematch for the title on Tuesday night's edition of NXT. The odds were firmly stacked against Williams as the entirety of Judgment Day and JD McDonagh constantly interfered in the title match, with a belt shot from Balor allowing Mysterio to pick up the win following a Frog Splash.

Williams initially defeated Mysterio for the gold at No Mercy on Saturday, September 30. Rhea Ripley secured a rematch for Dominik on Raw, telling Dirty Dom not to come home if he failed to regain the North American Championship.

With his loss, Trick Williams holds an unfortunate record for having the shortest reign in the North American Title's history. Dominik Mysterio's first reign as NXT North American Champion lasted 74 days after he won the belt from Wes Lee on July 18.

Judgment Day remain a dominant faction in WWE. Finn Balor and Damian Priest are the reigning Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, while Priest is also Senor Money in the Bank. Rhea Ripley holds the Women's World Championship.
