This week’s upcoming edition of AEW: Dynamite sees TNT Champion Darby Allin put the title on the line against Miro. But ahead of their showdown, Allin has stoked the fires, Tweeting the following about his opponent:

“You say Darby’s this & Darby’s that I know exactly who I am. Do you know who you are Miro? You show up the hottest free agent just to talk about video games and be some best man. You’ve gotta be the most underwhelming thing I’ve seen. You ain’t taking s--t away from me.”

Darby’s sentiments echo that of many wrestling fans who were hoping Miro would come in from WWE and bulldoze his way through AEW’s roster. So far this has not been the case, but everything could change on Wednesday if the Bulgarian brute sees off Darby and leaves Daily’s Place as TNT Champion.

Miro initially called Darby out on the Blood & Guts edition of Dynamite and made their match official, with Miro kicking off the war of words on Twitter saying:

“Denial will get you hurt bad. Ask emo face-paint Daddy @Sting if you can win. If he wants to protect you he’ll tell you it’s over too.”
