A controversial rap by Max Caster - featuring references to Simone Biles and Duke Lacrosse rape accusations - has been edited out of AEW Dark after initially airing during the broadcast.
Caster featured on the August 3 episode of AEW Dark, teaming with Anthony Bowens, Matt Hardy, and The Blade to take on, and ultimately defeat, The Varsity Blonds and The Sydal Brothers.
Ahead of the bout, Caster cut one of usual pre-match raps on the way to the ring, which contained controversial references to Olympian Simone Biles' mental health, rape accusations against the Duke University men's lacrosse team and fake PCR tests.
Caster's rap aired during the premiere of AEW Dark but has since been edited out of the show, and is not available on demand.
Neither AEW or Caster have commented on the removed segment, which drew an audible reaction from the live crowd in attendance, but Caster himself did post on social media following its premiere.
In response to a now deleted tweet that read 'The Greatest Rapper of All Time is Max Caster', he said: "Thanks, Dave! Seems like a lot of people enjoyed #AEWDark tonight! Proud to be a part of the 100th episode!"
