Cody Rhodes spoke to wrestling media on a conference call ahead of tomorrow's AEW Homecoming show, where he'll be wrestling the debuting Malakai Black.

As well as praising the talent of his upcoming opponent, the AEW executive vice-president also spoke widely about the company in general. One interesting topic was AEW's upcoming Rampage show, set to debut on TNT on August 13th. Cody revealed that Mark Henry, who joined AEW earlier this year, will be present in the commentary booth for Rampage, and also gave several hints about the tone and content of the show. He implied that the focus would be on the wrestling itself - citing a 'fight forward' attitude - and hinted at the possibility of AEW's central canvas logo featuring as well. When asked about the good vs. evil nature of his feud with Black, Cody stated: 'I don't have a heel bone left in my body', and ruled out the chances of doing so again, stressing that he'd been playing the bad guy for ten years.

On the fan reception he expects during the bout, he confessed to being a 'Luke [Skywalker] guy', and said that while he's sure there'll be plenty of 'Darth Vader guys' in the crowd tomorrow night, he hopes for a few Luke fans to be in attendance as well.

Full quotes from Cody's press conference will be available on Cultaholic.com a little later.
