Britt Baker Takes Step Back From Dentistry To Focus On AEW

Britt Baker is famously as much of a dentist as she is a professional wrestler, but it seems as though the ‘DMD’ is taking a step back from fixing teeth to concentrate on knocking them out in All Elite Wrestling.

Baker revealed her career update on Twitter, saying the following when asked how she balances her two jobs:

“I’ve taken a step small back from dentistry for months now to focus on AEW. I’m still a dentist, but not full time. I wanted to make sure I’m available whenever/wherever AEW calls. Also, a long day of dentistry can be just as rough on back/neck injuries as pro wrestling.”

Whilst Baker’s 2023 run has been quieter compared to previous years, she is still arguably the biggest star in AEW’s women’s division despite only wrestling 14 times in 2023. The first half of the year saw Baker and associate Jamie Hayter battling against The Outcasts, but Hayter’s untimely injury at the start of the Summer put plans on hold for the time being.
