Booker T knows tag wrestling better than most. The former 11-time WCW Tag Team Champion is certainly a specialist, and he currently considers AEW’s Lucha Brothers the greatest team working in the industry today.
Whist reviewing AEW All Out on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker said the following about the new AEW World Tag Team Champions:
“The reason why I say The Lucha Brothers may be the best tag-team is because wherever these guys go, if you let them, they’ll get over. Anywhere these guys go, if you let them do their thing, they will get over with the fans and they can bring a whole lot of money to your company just because people will want to support them and see them. They might be the best tag-team in the world right now.”
With fourteen tag title reigns across WCW and WWE, including ten with brother Stevie Ray as Harlem Heat. Booker is rightly regarded as one of the greatest tag wrestlers ever. So praise like this is very high indeed.
