When the AEW Trios Title Tournament was announced heading into All Out 2022, fans figured that the top trios in AEW would be set to compete, with many predicting an Elite vs. Undisputed Elite final.

However, The Undisputed Elite were not entered into the tournament due to Adam Cole and Kyle O’@Reilly still not cleared for an in-ring return, and during an appearance on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast, Bobby Fish confirmed that the three were set to play a part in he tournament:

"We weren't going to be able to do it, all three of us, at the time that we needed to be [ready]," Fish confirmed. "Plans had to be shifted, you know, much like everything else in wrestling. It's all subject to change. This was, unfortunately, one of those things that became subject to change."

The three did make an appearance on AEW Dynamite to turn on The Young Bucks, but since then they haven’t been featured:

"I think right now I'm the only one who is fully healthy," Fish revealed. "It's just a matter of the boys getting back, and it won't be long, but I think that's kind of where we are at the moment. We're just giving the boys time to heal, and then we'll get this thing going again."
