Following a turbulent few weeks in the aftermath of Scott D'Amore's firing as TNA President, the promotion held a talent meeting on Saturday, February 24 at the promotion's TV tapings in Westwego, Louisiana.

Fightful Select noted the meeting featured both old and new bosses in TNA Wrestling and some talent spoke to higher-ups individually as well. The general feeling at the meeting was "nobody wanted the roster to abandon the hard work they've done as a group, even if they don't agree with the decision to replace Scott D'Amore." The new higher-ups, which will include new TNA President Anthony Cicione, noted they were open to feedback from the TNA roster.

Several wrestlers noted to Fightful that they did not agree with the decision to fire Scott D'Amore but the meeting had them excited about the future of TNA. One top name was looking to leave the company but they decided to see how the meeting went.

Following the meeting, Scott D'Amore is still not expected to come back to TNA Wrestling. Many of the roster are still hoping he is brought back to the promotion in some capacity.

D'Amore's exit had been in the works for several weeks before he was fired, with Anthem's reluctance to fund further expansion for TNA in 2024 believed to be one of the reasons behind his exit. A D'Amore-led consortium offered to buy TNA from Anthem for $10 million as his exit drew closer but Anthem turned down the offer.
