Backstage News On Recent AEW Exit
More on a recent AEW departure
Oct 26, 2023
Another All Elite Wrestling talent's contract expired in recent weeks, with it being confirmed that Brock Anderson is no longer a part of the promotion.
Anderson was initially removed from the AEW roster page before he addressed his departure on Instagram, writing: "To those who've supported me and helped me THANK YOU. To my detractors, that's your right to an opinion. All I can do, to quote @dustinrhodestx, is to 'Keep Steppin'. On to the next chapter... #prowrestling."
In an update, Fightful Select has reported the parting of ways between AEW and Brock Anderson was amicable and there does not appear to be any bad blood between the two parties. Anderson also may still have a bright future and he is attracting some interest on the independent wrestling scene.
The son of Arn Anderson, Brock made his AEW debut back in 2021 but he was never regularly featured on AEW's TV programming in Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. His final AEW match came on the August 12 episode of Collision when he unsuccessfully challenged Luchasaurus for the TNT Championship.
Other talents to depart All Elite Wrestling in recent months include Sonny Kiss, VSK, and Zack Clayton.
