Backstage News On Jade Cargill Finishing Up With AEW

Despite making her recent return to All Elite Wrestling, word quickly emerged suggesting that Jade Cargill is in fact finishing up with the organisation, with Cargill’s match against Kris Statlander on the upcoming September 15 edition of Rampage believed to be her final appearance for the company.

It’s been reported that the belief within AEW and WWE is that Cargill is set to sign for the latter, and a fresh report from Fightful Select has potentially shed more light on Cargill’s AEW departure.

Whilst it has been strongly hinted at that Cargill could join WWE, nothing is set in stone, although there is the belief that if Cargill is to jump ship then she could do so immediately, with her AEW deal believed to be structured in a way that could allow her to sign with WWE seemingly with no non-compete clause in place.

However, despite the belief that Cargill is headed to WWE, Cargill herself has not explicitly stated as much, with the inaugural TBS Champion instead telling people she wants to focus time on her family and on the softball team she co-owns. 

Cargill’s name was the subject of backstage chatter at the September 11 WWE Raw tapings, and if Cargill makes the switch it’s not believed to be money-motivated.
